The KYSA held a regularly scheduled board of directors meeting at the KYSA office on McArthur Island on Monday night (December 10).
The meeting is the first to take place following the organization’s Annual General Meeting which was held November 22nd. It is at this meeting that the board selects its President and Vice-President for the coming year and assigns various responsibilities to its directors.
Chosen to preside over the association (by the seven-person board of directors) is Candace Dodson-Willis. She will be entering her sixth year on the board and her third year as President. Elected as Vice-President was Tony Cuzzetto. Dennis Piva will remain the Club’s Treasurer.
Board members Chris Balison, Rod Gurnsey, Victor Lizzi and Andrew Williams were also assigned various operational responsibilities.
The KYSA has a paid staff consisting of full-time employees Missy Cederholm (Executive Director), Ciaran McMahon (Technical Director) and Mark Bell (Senior Staff Coach) and part-time employees Clive Lovett (Program Coordinator), Carolyn Birch (Office Administrator) and Donna Marshall (Office Assistant). Justine Rinaldi is the organization’s contracted Bookkeeper.
