DEC 1 = Early Bird Deadline

With the Xmas season just around the corner this is a good time to remind everyone that the Early Bird deadline for Spring Soccer is December 1st!

Check out our program details (HERE) and placement policy (HERE) so you know what to expect come April!

The association offers opportunities for U3 to U18 participants to play in the Initiation Program and Community Spring League. Both programs are proudly sponsored by The Chopped Leaf, Forward Law and Pizza Now.

KYSA continues to offer families who register three or more children a 10% discount on their overall registration fees. Financial support is also available to ensure that all children have the opportunity to play.

Parents/players can register their child(ren) online at kysa.net. More information is available on the KYSA website or by calling 250-376-2750.

General office hours are Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.

Welcome To Our New ED!

We would like to officially introduce Steph Neystrong, our new Executive Director, to the KYSA community!

Originally from One Hundred Mile, Steph has a BA in Communication from the University of North Dakota, where she received a full athletic scholarship to play women’s hockey as a goaltender. She played for 4 years as a starter while obtaining her degree. Since then, Steph has been coaching and/or managing hockey for over 10 years in various settings and for various organizations. Most recently, Steph has worked as a Project Coordinator with an engineering consulting company since moving to Kamloops in 2013. Even though her background is primarily in hockey, Steph played Community and Select soccer as a youth!

“Ultimately, I enjoy sports and am passionate about helping youth pursue their dreams through athletics and for the enjoyment, fitness and being a team player that playing on a team brings!”

Steph starts with us in December and is taking over for Missy Cederholm. Missy shifted to a new role with the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club at the end of August. Missy had a significant impact on our association helping to successfully navigate us through the pandemic and we are excited for her in this new opportunity.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Kamloops Youth Soccer Association will be holding their Annual General Meeting as follows:

  • Date: Monday, November 28th, 2022
  • Time: 7:00pm
  • Location: KYSA Office building in the upstairs activity room – 1500 Island Parkway

Call for Board Members:
KYSA is looking for new members to join the Board of Directors. There are THREE board positions open for election at the coming AGM. If you are interested in joining the Board, please contact Interim Executive Director, Ciaran McMahon at ed@kysa.net for more information.

Walk up attendance is welcome however attendees are encouraged to RSVP to office@kysa.net to confirm your attendance so we can prepare accordingly.

2022 5v5 Xmas Bash!

Come join us for a fun and friendly 5v5 mini tournament!  This single day event will be lots of fun and is not to be missed!

  • Dec 19 or 20 or 21 or 22 (based on age group)
  • Minimum of 4 games
  • 22 minute games
  • 5v5 (4 + GK)
  • Competitive Level of Play
  • Roster MIN = 6 | MAX = 12
  • Must register as a Team.  
  • Registration Deadline = Monday, December 12th
  • Space is limited
